Seeking support marks the beginning of the process of change. STAR was created with the intention to walk with you and support you through the process of change to conquer that challenge.
Addressing challenges head on can feel daunting and when obstacles are complex it can be hard to pinpoint where to start. The great news is that when you partner with STAR you are not alone in the process. Together, we will work to set goals you would like to accomplish. During the treatment process, we use evidenced based practices to help you discover new ways of thinking, healthy ways of communicating, learn coping skills to reduce symptoms, and develop practical tools that will assist you with achieving your goals and beyond. We also use measured based care to ensure you are receiving quality mental health services that you feel live up to your standards.
After learning new skills, you will be empowered to apply coping skills, interpersonal skills, tools, and techniques into your daily life to create healthier thought patterns and decision making that impact your actions in a positive way. As your support, we will discuss your application and refine skills as needed.
All the answers are within you. As you continuously apply new skills you create room for change to occur. During this process, healing occurs, confidence is built, relationships are built and restored, boundaries are set, and you reclaim what’s rightfully yours!
